LESSON PLAN – INVASION

Time : 8.00 a.m. – 8.30 a.m.

Class : 4 Mutiara

Number of students : 20 students

Learning Components : Defending and Attacking Skills (Games)

Topic : Invasion – “Defend the Cone”

Skill : Throwing, passing, catching ball, targeting and dribbling

Aim / Objective : By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

Psychomotor : Throw and aim ball to the target and receive the ball properly from team members.

Cognitive : Plan the strategies for scoring points.

Affective : Cooperate with team members to prevent scoring opportunities for opponents (defending).

Pre-requisite skills : Students have the basic skills of passing, throwing, dribbling and receiving the ball.

Moral values : Cooperation, Intelligent and Teamwork.

Teaching & Learning Strategies : Multiple Intelligences – Kinesthetic and Interpersonal

Teaching Aids : Cones, Hoops, Sponge ball and Rubber ball.

1. Students get a partner

2. Students run and pass the ball to each other and try to hit the cone at the end of line

3. Students can pass the ball using their own creativity like throwing, bouncing, dribbling the ball.

2. Students take place in court

Example answer: Have uneven teams (attackers or defenders)

Example answer: to score much easier tries use empty space and move around fast

b)How can you make the game more challenging?

Example answer: Reduce/ increase the number of players in each group. Pass only by kicking/heading

Cooling down activity:

Poison ball

1. Students make one big circle

2. Students act as what the teacher said.

3. The ball need to hit the body (from knee and below only)

1. Teacher places the group at an open area

2. Teacher instructs the students to stand freely and comfortably

3. Teacher choose 6 students to get inside the circle

4. The other students need to hit the 6 students using a ball
